Floored. Absolutely floored.
One of the doctors who are suggesting that three time child killer Allan Schoenborn is ok to re-enter society admitted today on CKNW’s Bill Good Show that he was unaware of the public outcry against Schoenborn’s release; would “prefer not to comment on this specific case” and was “not aware of [Schoenborn's] ex-wife wherebouts”.
Dr. Johann Brink (pictured at left) is the Director, Clinical Services, Forensic Psychiatry Services Commission (FPSC) and Clinical Professor, Psychiatry and really comes off looking foolish and uncaring to the public at large.

Dr. Brink says his goal is to have Schoenborn return to the community. But Dr., the Tri-Cities is NOT his community.
Dr. Brink says Schoenborn is of “little risk to [the] public”. Ok…so doctor, of all the patients you have ok’d, how many have committed illegal acts after your clean bill of health? I understand it is more than just a few.
The BIG statement which shows just how out of touch Dr. Brink is with his duel role of patient rehabilitation AND public safety / interest is when he said he was “not aware of [Schoenborn's] ex-wife’s whereabouts”. This is important as Schoenborn is bent on killing his ex-wife. Of course Dr. Brink cannot confirm this due to “privacy issues”. Also, the ex-wife moved away from Merritt, BC – where Schoenborn killed their three children – to Coquitlam. Now Dr. Brink wants to release him into HER community.
So, Dr. Brink says he did not know the ex-wife was in Coquitlam. Doctor, let me suggest five ways you could have found out:
1) Google
2) Read the newspaper
3) Watch the evening news
4) Listen to the radio
5) and this one is crazy I know – ASK VICTIM SERVICES!

UPDATE: At 3:15pm today BC Attorney General Barry Penner says there will be new hearing on outings for Allan Schoenborn due to today’s developments in case.
