Further to yesterday’s piece – this is from the Tri-City News which will be coming out tomorrow:
One candidate disclosure form was noticeably absent. Former mayor Scott Young, who ran for a seat on council last November, had not filed his paper work by deadline Monday night. According to city staff, Young arrived at city hall with the paperwork in hand before the deadline but refused to sign the documents and left without filing them.
So – why would the disgraced former Mayor not want to sign the papers under the section where one declares they are not lying nor did they break campaign finance laws? Ummmmm…..that really is the $10,000 (or more) question.
ADDED: This helpful clock to show you just how delinquent Scott is with his filing:

Better question, why would he show up at City Hall WITH the documents but without intending to sign them at all?
That is a good question. An honest person would not have a problem signing the disclosure papers.
