Today is the inauguration for the 44th President of the United States – Barack Obama.
Lots of “hope” and lots of “change” are in the air. To steal from Penn Jillette – I have not heard so much hype for hope and change since New Coke. A bit cynical? Perhaps. I just do not see how Obama is going to live up to the expectations thrust upon him. My better half Katy (pictured at the left) also agrees (with the living up to expectations part anyway).
That said, I certainly do hope he does better than Bush over the last eight years. Then again, that should not be too difficult.
