Let me explain.
At the end of October, former ECCW wrestler, Paul "Leviathan" Lazenby was shooting a movie scene with former WWE Champion Stonecold Steve Austin. What was catagorized as an "error" resulted in a broken nose for Leviathan when a punch from Austin was not pulled quite enough. In fact, TMZ wrote about it HERE and HERE.
Leviathan – being the good natured and level headed guy that he is – played down the incident and chalked it up to an accident.
An ACCIDENT?! Was Paul really saying this? Or was he saying something else without ever saying it? Ummm…
Fast forward to last week.
Former two time NWA/ECCW Champion, the 7’4" 350lbs Kurrgan (aka Robert Maillet) is shooting a fight scene with legendary tough guy Robert Downey Jr. Before you could say, "officer that stash is not mine", Kurrgan knocked Iron Man out cold with a punch that was an – ahm – "error". After getting his six stitches I am sure Downey let Austin and his other Hollywood brethren know that ECCW will not be pushed around.
So there.
