You have got to love that Tri-Cities MP and Heritage Minister, James Moore spanked the CBC for overspending.
$6,000 for lunch and dinner dates with employees? $10,000 to purchase opera fundraising tickets? $80,000 for hotels, theatre tickets and catering? Wow.
James wrote to CBC Chairman Timothy Casgrain:
“I am sure that you are sensitive to the fact that, at a time of fiscal restraint when Canadians are struggling to maintain their jobs and savings, (spending) excess does not sit well with them.”
