Remembrance Day 2008

Remembrance Day 2008Hundreds of people filled the hall at the Wilson Centre then joined the walking precession to the Cenotaph at City Hall to commemorate Remembrance Day.

A number of the speakers observed that the pouring rain did not deter the crowd – filled with many youth – from coming to the ceremonies.  With only one Canadian solider from World War I still alive, there is a concern that we will forget the service or sacrifice of our soliders.  From what I saw today, there is no need to worry.

Lest we forget.

Dave, it’s nice to post this rememberance day thing. However, I have lost my trust, respect and will not support his campaign for Greg Moore. You two may be supporting each other and I don’t careless, but be honest and straight up to the people.

If you Mr. Moore wins, you are not going to get any respect from the majority of the council team and I will make sure of that. What kind of dirty campaign are you running?

Go to www mikebowen ca, link attack campaign. I saw that thing you have sent out. all you do is think of yourself and not others.

Fact: If a person walking down the street or at city hall doesn’t look like your supporter, you wouldn’t even acknowledge them and that’s how selfish you are. My mom knows you, your entire family and he loves and has all the respect for you family, but you. My wife works at city hall and believe me, they do not like your character.

    Chris, thanks for your post.

Sounds like you have a concern with how Greg Moore is running his campaign. If so, feel free to email him at greg@gregmoore.ca, call him (604) 944-4555 or visit his website http://www.gregmoore.ca.

I have had the opportunity to work with both Greg and Mike on various City projects and concerns. Both gentlemen have the best interest of the City at heart and have some different ideas as to how the City should be run. On November 15th you and the rest of PoCo can vote for the person to best represent us.

I have sat down with both Mike and Greg over the past week and if elected, I will be happy to serve with either Mayor.
